Success Articles > Making the "M" Word As a Life Coach

It is a wonderful blessing to be able to make a difference in the lives of others as a life coach. But there are also times that you may need to make the "M" word. I am referring to money. Some people may think that because he or she is in a helping field, that making money is something to feel guilty about. And some people don't even like to say the word money, when he or she is talking about being a service professional.

But it is a great blessing to be able to make money, as well as to make a difference in the lives of others. This not only provides you with the opportunity to take care of your family's needs, but it also allows you to be in a position to help others as well. You can give back to others in many ways.

Becoming a life coach is a dual blessing because you are able to help others, and you are also blessed to generate income as well. You are able to supplement your income, and maybe one day you can even transition into life coaching as a full-time career.

If you like working with people from a supportive, encouraging and inspiring perspective, and you have a heart to make a difference. Then life coaching may be a great profession for you to consider. How do you feel when you know you have made a difference? How do you feel when you know you have helped someone? How do you feel when you know you have done something that is rewarding? Do you feel wonderful? Do you feel joyful? Do you feel blessed?

Those are the feelings that you carry when you are a coach. I referred to carrying those feeling, because for me those are feelings that I carry with me daily, because of being in the field of coaching. When I think about making a difference, helping someone and doing something rewarding, I feel wonderful. I feel joyful. And I feel blessed.

Helping someone to develop, grow and succeed in life are a few of the things that a coach can do. So coaching makes you feel rewarded emotionally, but you can also get rewarded financially as well. A good life coach means that the client has possibly achieved something in his or her life, that could not be measured financially. Because he or she has reached a dream that money could never buy. That is why most clients don't mind compensating you as their coach. Matter of fact many of them may even feel like you deserve more that what you are asking.

So don't be worried about the "M" word, it is ok if you feel like you deserve to make money as a coach. That doesn't mean that you have to take it all and hoard it, or spend it. But what it does mean is that you can provide for your family, and give to others. And that helps you to look at the "M" word from a different perspective.
